BFN
I have taken a few days to write this because it is has been a very hard week... I started bleeding on Monday, exactly 14 days (and, oddly enough, to the hour!) from the time of the egg retrieval two weeks ago. I wasn't due for my clinic blood test until Wednesday (as they like to do the first blood test post-transfer on day 16) but it was pretty obvious what was happening.
On Wednesday on got the pregnancy blood test done and it confirmed the result was negative.
:-(
The clinic also confirmed that there were no embryos able to be frozen (since the remaining four pretty much all arrested on day 3) so now it is back to square one for me, with a lot of thinking to do.
I have a follow-up appointment with my Doctor at the clinic next Friday 18th February. I have a ton of questions to ask her so I can't wait to see what she says and the suggestions on where to go to from here.

I'm sorry.
So, so, sorry!...I know all too well the pain you are going through...I send you hugs and wishes that you move through this time of major sadness as swiftly as possible.

Hi There - I just came across your blog and I enjoy it. It shares all the travesties and difficulties my mother always talks about when dealing with her infertility. I am donor-conceived via anonymous sperm and really appreciate being able to hear about your experiences. It's such a painful topic for her to discuss, I feel like I can more insight from bloggers such as yourself and maybe see exactly what it was like before I came along. I write a lot about my experiences as the child of anonymous AI on connecitblog.blogspot.com. I'm not against AI but I am against anonymous donation - but that is my opinion and I harbor to ill will towards those that disagree. Some moms become very defensive but, I'm trying to foster as much honest and open debate because that same defensiveness creates much shame and depression for my donor conceived peers. I think the more we all talk and share the less pain there will be all the way around. I have included you blog on my site to follow as many parents visit and I believe its a great resource.
If you were ever willing to guest blog on your experiences and opinion I would be extremely honored.
Best of Luck,
Girl Conceived
